Jan. 31st, 2005 11:06 pmGeh. New week, still exhausted.
Had an 8:30 am Senior Design meeting with the TA this morning. John and I were on time, Dave had to be at work, and Ka showed up 25 minutes late. Nice. I'm trying not to be all negative about Ka since he's actually showing up... But the late, missing meetings (both without explanation), and doing work that we can't use at all... It's mega-frustrating. I've had too many groups before where people don't pull thier weight. I have trouble trusting people that make this kind of showing.
On the bus ride back I found out that 4 of the Transit drivers just flat didn't show up this morning so my route only had one bus instead of two. Instead of a bus every 15 (hah!) minutes, it's a bus every 30.
So I run back, do work on the Senior Design Status Report due at 5pm.
Miss the Transit run, catch the next, and just barely make it into my Noon class before he gets started.
Go sit in Foy for the 2 hours I hae to kill between classes, then go to my Database lecture, where we get updated on the homework assignment due Friday.
Catch the transit back. Get caught up on the (now finished) Status Report. Yay John and me for writing it up. Also yay John for going a little light on my SD workload-assignment for this week.
I had full intentions of accomplishing stuff tonight. Was gonna make the first pass at my Database homework, do all the anime club prep work, update the AUSAM website, clean my room... Didn't happen. I lazed around for a bit, then Ashley got in, and I ended up hanging out with her since I've not seen her since the brief Monday-night -- Tuesday-half-day last week. She's been in Columbus/Phenix City since then, and I was running for Senior Design stuff this time last week. Actually, all of last week. That all-nighter nearly did me in Wednesday-Thursday.
Last week in Senior Design... I'm sure there was a Monday meeting, but I don't remember the time frame. Tuesday, class 8am-9:15am, night session from 5pm until 11pm(?). Wenesday group meeting/work session from 8am-11:30am (Ka never showed), night session from 8pm to 3:30am. I return home, work on Architechtural Spike writeup from 3:45am until 6am. Get a quick shower. Continue writeup stuff/burn instructor CDs/Peer Evaluation from 6:30am to 6:50~55(?)am. Catch the 7am North Ross transit. Final prep for presentation in class at 8am. Presentation... goes less than swimmingly. Meet with TA directly after class, 9:15am until ... I don't know. Run to a lab, print Peer Evaluation & help groupmates with getting Peer Eval form. Turn in Peer Eval to Amos. Go to the townhouse, decide to skip Networks lecture to rest. Can't sleep. Gods forfend I be able to nap during the daylight hours.
Anyway, what follows are the Sleep Dep'ing Becky & two Feltons on the other side of the front door make no sense, even though I opened the door; and the Saturday escapade; and my perpetual bad memory-dreams. Stories for another time.
Like I said, tired now.
