Shared Hotel Rooms #10 - Or sometimes roommates just may not want a bunch of people in their room, especially if they are costumers and have delicate bits out, or have brought along expensive personal items such as their laptop. Not every room is a party room. And unless it is an established party room that you are visiting, not the one you are staying at for the weekend, check with the people actually paying for that room before you invite anyone else to meet you there. Some people may not be comfortable with the friend of a friend of a friend hanging out there.(So maybe there should be an addendum about visiting other hotel rooms?)

There might should be some special rule for costumes that involve gore too. When Cliff and Joey were visited in our room last year in their Evil Dead costumes they were quarantined to the front hallway of the room, lol. I'm sure this has also got to be an issue with anyone who has someone with a zombie costume for a roommate.

And if you coordinate you can plan shared snacks too. Like everyone can bring a little something, or maybe one person makes a Sam's trip and everyone chips in for it.

Costuming - I usually bring clear thread with me so I don't have to worry about the color issue. I also almost always pack some Topstick(fashion tape) too.
