This LJ is primarily friends only. My posts tend to be about cosplay, conventions, travel, fandoms, art, daily life, and just me blowing off steam. I do stray into book/anime/movie/comic reviews and the occasional political discussion. These later entries are usually posted publicly.

I'm a computer programmer for a government contractor by day, amateur artist and writer in my free time. I spent several years working on a few web comics, but I don't have time to do one regularly these days. My first love above any fantasy/sci-fi novel, anime, tv series, or comic book is mythology and legends. I lived and breathed it growing up.

I'm not nearly as mean or scary as I evidently come off as online, and am happy to make new friends, although I do prefer to have some sort of prior contact before adding new folk. I do NOT friend-back people who do not respond to my F.O. post.
