Ah-ha. Here we go. For you, straight from the AX 2009 Attendee Code of Conduct:
(Its become something of a "know your rights" situation.

Harassment and Assault

“No” means “no.” “Stop” means “stop.” “Go away” means “go away.” If someone is harassing you and does not respect these simple rules, contact a member of Los Angeles Convention Center Security or convention staff. Convention staff and security personnel have the right to remove an attendee’s badge for not following these rules and their commands, and may eject a person from the convention. Harassment is any behavior that seriously annoys or alarms another person. This includes unwanted physical contact, following someone in a public area, verbal assaults, or threatening physical violence. An offender may lose their badge and the matter may be referred to the proper law enforcement authorities. If you are being harassed, immediately contact security, or a nearby member of staff.

Signs offering favors for sale such as kisses, hugs, dates, gropes, spankings, etc. Are strictly prohibited as they may be viewed as forms of prostitution. Attempts to circumvent any of these rules such as throwing money and merchandise on the ground and other such tactics are also prohibited.

And from the AX Weapons Policy:
Yaoi Paddles
You may not carry or possess any working weapon, openly or concealed, at any time at or around the convention space, including the parking lots. Working weapons, firearms, curio or relic or antique firearms, and all forms of ammunition are strictly forbidden. “Working Weapons” include, but are not limited to: firearms and ammunition of any and all sorts, rifles, shotguns, hand guns, BB guns, pellet guns, cap guns, air-soft weapons, paintball guns, blow guns, tazers, explosives, knives, swords (including katana and other martial arts style swords), daggers, sword canes, switchblades, bali-song (butterfly) knives, axes, hatchets, pole arms, staffs, clubs, wooden or metal bats and paddles, bows, arrows, martial arts weapons, brass knuckles, chains, whips, pepper spray, mace, and any projectile item, toy or real, whether or not such Working Weapon is loaded, broken, or then-currently in firing or useable condition.

Even items that may be legal to own or carry are not welcome at Anime Expo®. Please leave them at home.

Weapons purchased at Anime Expo® must be kept wrapped and then immediately removed from the premises following purchase. Unwrapping or brandishing of weapons bought from Anime Expo®, on convention grounds or in parking lots, is considered a violation of the Zero Tolerance Policy for Working Weapons. Attendees found in violation may be subjected to expulsion from Anime Expo®.
