Yeah. They were pretty jovially getting along with us for a while (even did the "School Time Shipping" short to indulge fans), then as season 3 ended... Well, they pulled this video using a lot of fanart (without even bothering to ask the artists, including some R-rated art) and said some really just vicious things about Zutara fans at an all ages SDCC panel. Most of the fandom thought it was a bit unnecessary. And smut in an all-ages panel == bad move.
