Grace Caroyln Yarbrough (my second cousin Johnny's daughter) had her 2nd b-day party Friday night. We spent the night at Johnny's.
Saturday night I made dinner, Chicken Fried Rice for those of you familiar with that old dish I make. It went over very well. I also made sweet tea. The first I've had since coming north.
I bought and watched Laputa with Morgan. Pretty good. I'm not big into Miyazaki, but pretty good. I still am not particulary nuts for his art/character designs. I liked the arsty old-fashioned still screens though.
Today, I tried hitting the Mall Of America. I don't think I've ever been around so much cold iron at once in my life. The parking deck alone almost caused me to faint. Literally. I wandered for a few hours, found a hat I liked for $34.95, didn't get it, and found a place with a polished quartz crystal about 9 in long for $10. May have to go back after it.
Came back and didn't move for an hour.
Now hanging out on AIM.
Still not feeling too hot.
