Mood: restless

E-mail from Mom today.
She's wanting to spend Christmas Eve with the Sorrells, My Aunt Liz and her family for those who that means anything to. Spend Christmas Eve at the old Yarbrough home... Drive back to our home that night. Wake up and have Christmas Day at home.
She also has Liz's okay to invite Richard and his daughter Mary for C'Eve. She wants BJ and I's okay on it though. I'm... thinking on it. Tough decision y'know...

I don't even know if we'll have a real tree this year. Looking to the not. I don't like fake trees, not at all. But BJ wasn't real good about consistent help with Thanksgiving prep, Mom can't touch pine trees, and I couldn't quite manage a tree by myself. Mostly the cutting hauling, putting it in the stand then hauling it out... Too small to do that alone. I wouldf if I honestly thought that I could. So fake tree this year I guess. Bleh.

On the upside. I think I'm going to be able to have another birthday like last year up at the house. Mom seems okay with it. And aside from my elf-knives, it's what I want.

More doodleness from yesterday.

Tsubasa No Renkinjutsushi
More of my "Wing Alchemist". The wing concept being that the signature alchemy trick is transmuting the trenchcoat and scarf into wings and flying. Thus the need for goggles. I keep debating whether the random Alchemist character (who I have nothing to do with it, but I'm designing it anyways.) is a guy or a girl. The way it's drawn, except for the upper left corner, it could be either. I could defineately have fun with the sweet energetic guy idea, or a tomboyish energetic girl who's always getting mistaken for a boy because of the big coat and goggles she's normally wearing.
Opinions?

Regardless, I'm really liking Tsuba[-kun (also regardless)] as a nickname. Tsuba is the Japanese word for the crosspiece(guard) on a sword hilt.
And Tsuba-kun has a cross-scar on his left eyebrow. Dunno why I put it there, but I like it.

Also from yesterday... I drew Edward from FMA...
See him here..

Thanks... I'm glad I'm of no use... I'll be sure to be less help in the future. IF YOU WANT A DAMN TREE JUST SAY SO OK!!! I'LL GET YOU YOUR FUCKING TREE... AND IF MOM WANTS RICHARD AND MARY THERE... LET HER HAVE HER WAY... ITS NO USE FIGHTING IT...

I didn't say you were of no use, so don't jump to conclusiuons. the problem is, Mom said she wasn't getting enough "consistent help" (basically doing stuff until everything was done) to make it seem like we could do a tree. I don't know about the tree, and I don't want to be a pain about it.
I use LJ to vent and work out things that I'm thinking about. Things don't always come across right. So please don't take this stuff so harshly. We all need a vent place, writing here is mine. It's not meant to yell at you, it's me sorting out what's going on in my life.
If Richard and Mary come, I think that's something that's up to al three of us. It's supposed to be a family holiday, that means everyone has a say in how it goes. What are you wanting? I honestly don't know for myself.

Tree - Birthday - Richard & Mary

Tree, I do not see how we can go cut a real tree and get it in the house and back out with the current schedule. But, we could look at buying a cut tree, if that is what you both want. We must work this together, we still to not have a firm schedule for things for the Holidays. I still need to know what all you two have planned. Becky when to you plan to have your Birthday Party? Number of People to plan for the party? Will the tree stay up for the party? Do you want to go to the Bowl game in Nashville? Are either of both bringing dates? Do you want to stay in Nashville New Years Eve after the Game if we go?

Richard and Mary - The statement was Liz has included them in the invite for Christmas Eve. This is open for talk between the three of us. ( Becky, BJ, and Margaret). They are not aware of this invite yet. Not, sure they would or could come if they were invited.

These are not my decisions alone. But, if I do not help making them, I will have to make the decisions. I want help.

Love,
Mom

I think a tomboyish girl would be great. Think of all the trouble she could get into just because someone has mistaken her "identity" and all the places she could venture into because of either role she could play (although, if truly tomboyish, she'd HATE to 'get all pretty' and that could be used to create interesting situations when she did). Of course, the "wings" don't surprise me too much, I mean, who would have thought you'd like wings???? ;)

... And I thought you avoided LJ like the plague... ^_~

Yeah. Girl is funh, but too many of my random designs are girls... And like I said last night, I could always have the boy get mistaken for a girl when his hair's down. the face is pretty androgonous (sp).
