The God of Games...
Jun. 19th, 2001 10:17 pmMy little brother and I were talking, and, as most of our conversations tend to do, it took an odd turn. He was joking about having a gaming tourney with my college anime club buddies, and I told him that FluffyHead would want to play one of those dancing games, not Parappa Rappa, the one with the girl with pink hair and the twin aliens and such. Such games are the bane of my brother's existence. He started exclaiming that those things embarassed even Pong in video game quality, and Atari would be embarrassed. His logic continued that Atari was the God of the gaming industry and Pong was it's manifestation, it's Christ.
So we started having fun with the idea, and came up with something to this effect:
In the beginning,
There was the One
And the One dreamed,
And there was the Light
And the One was the Light,
And the Light was beautiful,
And the Light became the Atari.
And the One spoke,
And it was the Savior.
And the Savior was the Path,
And the Path was the Pong,
And the One liked the Pong.
ALL HAIL THE PONG!
We enjoy our little jokes.
