AUSAM tonight. Bad part was I had homework due at midnight, and was a page & a half short of finishing it when I had to leave for club. I finished it on time after club though.

Club was... busy.
I got to herd about 30 cats club members to Foy Student Union for the first 30 minutes of club, while Silas handled a scheduling issue with the PR club, who was in OUR reserved room. I think it'll be okay.
Jep, Melissa, and Lindsey all showed. I really don't want Lindsey at club, she's not a University student, her parents don't teach here, and in general, high-schoolers at club is troublesome. But I won't boot her until she causes a disturbance. No antics. I am zero-tolerance for shit this year. I've already had several complaints after just one meeting about Jep, and, considering this isn't the first time he's caused problems, have asked him to not return. Melissa... Fine, whatever. It's just my personal issues. BUT. She calls me "Becky-chan" again, I'm gonna deck her.

I just did a marvelous job of falling down the stairs at the townhouse a few minutes ago. My head, upper back, and butt hurt. (Not that you wanted to know.)

I'm gonna crash now.

technically you can write out high-schoolers (and anyone else you want) into the club constitution and by-laws, however, you can't legally discriminate outside of those requirements.

for instance, the only valid gamers' club members are AU Students, Faculty, Staff, and Alumni (where Alumni is loosely defined as having attended at least one class at AU at some point). This technically writes out all high school students unless they are employees or doing pre-undergrad studies. however, we are also free to bend those rules at any time, thus letting those high schoolers in all last year.

i'm glad you're keeping your personal issues seperate from your presidential. you are a good club rep. *pats head* ;o) i know it's fairly hard to do.

Kinda sucks for Jep, but he brought it upon himself. Even though I like him, he never knew when to shut up. (However, that does explain why club was drastically quiet tonight.)

Suckage on the falling. I'd offer a massage to help ease the pain (butt optional ;o) ) but you'll probably be fine by the next time I see you ;oP

I'd sincerely and honestly like to know if I was a bother back when I was a part of AUSAM. I was in HS at the time, and no one said I shouldn't join in the club activities... but now that you've said all that up above, plus thinking back to my participation in the club, I'm starting to think I was a bit of a pest for being there at all. I want the truth for this, too, no buttering teh fluffy up to make him feel better ;_; That'd make me feel worse. I trust your honesty.

I found it weird how Melissa was trying to be all happy/friendship with you. But then again, I only observed this because she was right infront of me. Ah well.

Yeah. I was working very hard to ignore her, but apparently she's told people that she has/was talked/ing to me. I find it interesting to know that we were talking when I never said anything to her.

Anyhoo.

That's why I'm not doing anything. I know most of my problems with certain members are purely personal, and I won't let that affect someone's right to attend. Jep, I truly did have way too many complaints about.

Thanks, it makes me feel better when I'm told I'm not being a jack ass as president.

No, you didn't cause any problems. But, looking back, I wonder if you attending club was very healthy for you. You got physically scarred, and ignoring that, just the fact that there was some trouble with you being picked on. Aside from that, no, you weren't any problem Fluffy. *huggles*

My concern with Lindsey is that she has some very real, very serious, psychological problems and has a tendency to bring others into them.

Ya get used to the stairs. Somehow I managed to once come from upstairs to downstairs while dragging a blanket without me remembering it. You've seen my house and my room is essentially in the back of the upstairs.

I take it Jep had grated abit too much and got bumped? Good luck with Melissa and stuff.
