I believe I shall start killing people who perpetrate baseless internet rumors.
Yes...

Hi there. =D

You have no sodding idea who I am, LMAO, but +++++ told me about a
movie that you brought/showed at some club -- anime club? -- a good
while ago... maybe a month or more? Anyway, it was the video that the
cast of the LotR trilogy put together for Orlando Bloom, with a bunch
of slashy bits from the movie set to ... ohhell, that one song. Don't
remember. Anyway, this was the first time I'd heard of it being in
public hands, and I was wondering if there was any way on the face of
the planet that you could loan it to Isaac for a day or two, so he
could burn me a copy? I would be ETERNALLY grateful.

Names starred out to protect idiocy the world over...

The supposed video that we showed at club was by some rube named Lane Drew, of some yahoo.com email address.
God-damned idiots.

My Response.

Hi There *****.

Yes the video was shown at anime club. +++++ mentioned you wanting it, but never brought me a CD or anything else of the like, so that's why there's no copy in your hands. I'm going to get on my gmail account in a moment and see if I can't just send it to you.

While I will attempt to send the video we have to you in a moment... Let me kill this little rumor right now. To my knowledge, there is no such "cast-made music video". I dont know where you heard it, or where it started, but don't aid rumors unless there is some solid proof behind them.

This music video was made by an LotR fan named Lane Drew. His/her/its email address and name crediting them is in the video. If the cast made such a video, I assure you they would've had better quality footage, and/or probably would've shot something extra to go in it. This video only has footage from as far as the Two Towers. Not to mention, frankly, the actors aren't going to have the video editing skill or free time in which to do such a thing.
Be logical here.

The song is "Can't Fight This Feeling Anmore" by REO Speedwagon.
