Well, it's not so much the one character healing the other that makes it complex, it was where it extended beyond that. To the little kids, the chocobos, and "now they all have bruises". That took it beyond a simple concept I could run with into a prompt with a very specific back-story and situation. Something better for a fanfic than a sketch. The way you described it really required either a very detailed image with a background and more characters drawn than the primary two to illustrate the prompt. The children and the chocobo (or nest) couldn't be brought across without bdrawing them and thusly making the drawing very complicated (or really, that requires a series of images to convey the entire idea).
"Tifa healing Cloud while teasing him for being injured" is simple, to the point, and leaves openings for interpretation without requiring more to be drawn.
