Holidays Story #1: My birthday

elfgroveHeh, It was a full moon, that is just far, far too appropriate for me.
Anyways, Laura and Bre had spent the night over the evening before, and we had watched Inu-Yasha into the wee hours of trhe morning. They went home, but we made plans to meet for a late showing of LotR that evening.
My parents, brother and I decided to go to the new Shogun for dinner, and at the last minute, I called Rob to see if he could come. He could. ^_^ Very happy Becky. Anyways, we met, had dinner, the other group at our table was there for a birthday too, so they came singing and beating a drum. ... yeesh. ^^;;
I just really enjoyed dinner. I love being around Rob. It just makes me happier somehow. I invited him to the movie, but in the end, he couldn't make it, understandably.
Laura, Bre, and I met in the theater, watched the movie, and started to leave. Funny thing though we were all wearing long black coat things as we walked into the hallway. Bre had a wool poncho/cape crossover without a hood, Laura had a knit coat type thing with a hood, and I had an old fashioned, ankle length cape with hood(Christmas present). As we turned the corner, I flipped my hood up, completely covering my face, so all people could see was a black cloak, black pants, black boots, and a shadowed face. As we pass one of the benches lining the hallway, I hear this strange noise, like paniced babbling. Laura and Bre point behind me, obviously amused, and say, "I think he wants you to turn around." I stop and turn to look at this about 15 or sixteen year old boy sitting on the bench, pointing at me, and babbling like he was seeing a real live Nazgul. I shake my head and turn aroundto keep going, and the babling gets louder. I fliup my hood back and turn my head, and give him and evil smile. He shuts up for a second, I flip the hood back up and keep going.
When we turn the corner, Laura looks at me and exclaims, "I'm supossed to be the mischevious one!"
I tell her, "It's not my fault you didn't put on your hood. Besides fae, I'm an elf, I get to be mischevious, and mysterious."
