elfgroveKeenspace has officially fucked up.
I don't know how long it will take me to get my comics back up now.
For those that don't know, the keenspace server went down Thursday or so. It came back up briefly around midnight Friday. There was some sort of server issue, and the admins were trying to move the accounts onto two new servers. They accomplished this for many of the comics (6007 of 7300 survived). Then the old system died. Completely. Everything go bye bye. They'll be re-making our accounts for those dead, but all our stuff is gone. And the account is not back yet.
Probably will take a couple of weeks. Mostly because the final versions of the comics that I save to disk do not include the date, so I have to go through and figure that out for every comic, as well as getting them off the 4 or 5 cds that all my comics take up. That's just LotF too folks, and that's because it's a year and a half old. ADVinAU and WarGames survived. But it will take time to get back up. *sigh* Michelle-chan(neoolympus) and George-kun(auburn, not that it was ever working right), appears your comics are lost too.

Date: 2003-01-26 09:49 am (UTC)They've already re-made the accounts for you and I, looks like George's is still non-existant, but they do have it listed as one of the ones to be restored in the keenspace LJ community. You should already be able to access your FTP again.
Unfortuneately, the update system isn't restored yet, so you may want to put a temporary index.html in the public_html folder until the update system starts running again.
