Mmm...
Not a bad weekend.
Friday, Ashley and I hung out, then we ended out the night over at Matt's place with him and Big Red watching The Bourne Identity. I had meant to ask Matt to go with me on a date sometime as we left, but he stopped Red to talk to him privately, and Ashley had to get back to Phenix City that night, and it was already midnight. I called after Ashley left, but he and Big Red had just left to somewhere, so, another chance gone. Stupid me. I had also called earlier this week, but that boy's hard to catch. ^_~ Between that and me being a wimp, I'm having trouble getting courage together. But I enjoyed just being relaxed. I ended up melting into a nice comfy ball in one corner of the couch.
Dave, Zero, 2 of Dave's buddies, and Chris (Matt's big brother) made appearances during the evening as well.

I've not been feeling too hot for the past couple of days, and my throat's killing me today. Bleh, that and my period are making me feel just bleh right now.

As for other events... Strike was tonight at 10pm. I got there 20 minutes early. Strike is when you take down the set by the way. This was the last part of my involvement in set crew. Robin actually made a point of making sure I knew that there was a class I could take for credit hours doing exactly what I've been doing the past couple of weeks. Stage Production Lab. Hmm. Keep that in mind. Anyways...
Once the play was over and everyone was getting ready for strike, the fire alarm went off. So we all had to go outside and wait for the firetruck to come and okay our return to the building. Then we got to work. Chris Golden came to strike too, at Melissa-chan's request. Started not too long after 10. By 1am, we were done. Amazing, all those weeks of work, gone in just a couple of hours. Given, we had like 30 people disassemling the set all at once. But still, just wow.
I had several people introduce themselves to me, and get introduced to me... Particularly, Payton(is that how you spell it?), kept trying to convince me to attend the cast party afterwards. When I mentioned it to Melissa, she went about trying to get the entirity of the strike crew to encourage me to go. She also felt the need to point out that this Payton guy doesn't normally put this much attention towards anyone, and I should feel special. My take on it, I'm new. A lot of people there were talking to me and asking who I was, I'm not a theatre major, so I'm a new face in the group, and i'm very quiet, so I probably really stand out in that group.

But I'm tired, and my throat hurts. I'm going to bed, not to a cast party. And I'd bet my wrists and arms are going to be bruised up again from moving all those platforms.
