elfgroveAn A in Discrete... That's really f-ing nice.
Well. Did the pool thing last night. Decent-sized group. Matt, Patrick, Big Red, Melissa, Chris, Ashley, Michelle, and (one new addition to the group) Xero. We had fun. I got a bit buzzed. *laughs* Finals were hell, I don't care.
I cannot thank Xero enough for driving us girls from Niell House so that I could do that. I only had a Rum and coke and one Patrick shot, but Matt's Patrick shots are pretty strong buggers. 3 is enough to get anyone pretty tipsy, and I have a fairly low tolerance at times.
Matt, Patrick, and Red were decently trounced. Especially Matt. Poor baby vomited. I think he was too stressed/upset over various things and mix it with drinking... yeah. I hope he's feeling better Melissa was gonna go check on him this afternoon.
I ended up cuddling or leaning on Patrick a good part of the evening, when I wasn't trying to keep an eye on everyone and check on Matt. Though I'm sure the random hugs seemed quite the result of being buzzed, I'm afraid it was moreso, that I'm going to miss all of you guys terribly this summer, and it's becoming achingly clear. I feel like I miss a lot not being around in the summers.
*sigh*
After Bumpers, Ashley demanded I come over to talk to her. Not that I minded, it just interferred with my original pass-out-and-get-lots-of-sleep-which-i've-been-lacking plan. She wanted to know where my behavior with Patrick had come from, as did Melissa when she came over, they have their answers, you'll have to AIM me if you want to know... XP We got Melissa to come over and drank a full small bottle of Strawberry White Zinfandel between us, so we were all amusing and talkative, I'm sure. Though it only came to be 3 full wine glasses total (one each)... small bottle. I remember everything, but it's not my way to repeat what was said. And I know it doesn't seem as bad from the perspective I had as it most likely was. We talked about relationships for all of us, religion at one point, and various other tangents until 3am. Before Melissa arrived, Ashley and I were noting how much more notable our Southern accents were while "buzzed". I think I got worse drunk than I should've been (considering the actual alchohol consumed) because I felt like (wanted to) getting a bit drunk. Then we separated. Melissa to Hans and Chris, Ashley and I drank big glasses of water and went to bed.
On other (nickname) notes, Melissa has started calling me (her/our) Lancelot once in a while, I appreciate that, thanks. Ashley has started calling me Beck, which no one has called me since high school, and it was only a few of my closer friends who ever did that. It's pleasantly nostalgic.
One last note...
I need to figure out what's in those Patrick Shots, I know Bacardi 151 and Sour Mix... And you chase by biting into a sugar-coated lemon wedge.
