Then I see the next generation coming up. They accept certain new things. But spit upon that which is completely different, and do not understand the harm they are doing. They do not see it as spitting upon another. The other is just, 'Not right.'
And my heart sinks. And I wonder if things will ever be okay."

things will be okay eventually. but don't forget, it's not just the next generation that spits. ours and those before us do it as well. the "people around [you]" have managed to break from the these same molds. this means there is hope for the future generations as well. breaking everyone is something that just can't happen. it takes something like the holocaust to make the general public listen.
