Dad's out of the hospital....
Mom and BJ says he's like he was before the first stroke. It seems so impossible. I can't get myself to really believe it.

I straightened up my room today and found a fortune from a fortune cookie I must've gotten a couple of weeks ago. "Serious trouble will pass you by."

I found some of those old power bead braclets today for $1 a piece. Bought one black and one white. I took them apart and now have 2 Kyou-kun (as in Fruits Basket) bracelets. One is mine. One will go to someone else. I just dunno who yet. The white beads were real biznitches about going back on the strings.

Mostly, I'm glad that your dad's doing better. It's interesting that he's better than the last one. Your dad must be made of more elastic stuff than most people. I hope he continues to do well.

Dad's amazing. He recovered reasonably well a bit quicker than expected before, but this is far beyond that. I chalk a lot of it up to him being a fairly powerful mage in his own right. I think we would not still have him otherwise.
