Feh... I was so depressed earlier today. I don't know why though... Just was. But Dave and Tim were joking around with me in Algoriths class a bit and that cheered me up considerably. It's a good thing they did. I was planning to just completely disappear and go into hiding tonight. Leave my apartment, not let anyone know, and just completely vanish. Just to prove old thoughts still rang true. I don't know what purpose it served, only a strong will to disappear and prove those old ideas true. But hanging out with Dave and Tim in class cheered me up, so I'm okay now.

Anyways...

I've finally sat down and figured out what I need to do to prep for my AWA art table. I have 3 big art pieces to complete, and I'll be drawing up 8 small ones. That'll give me 8 big pieces and 8 small (to be used for, well, that's going to be a surprise, though a few of you already know) to make prints of and sell at AWA. I'll also be doing commissions. We'll see how that goes.


The 8 bigger pieces (to become prints) are:
1. Silver Dragon (perched on rocks in a purple and blue haze)
2. Autumn (the girl with a sailcloth foming wings in the background)
3. Arctic (a mercenary with a sword and a neat glass wall background)
4. Mainyo in a tree (silver-haired elf, an older piece, but good)
5. Blaze (a horned girl sitting in a church-like setting) - Incomplete
6. Tiarna (in her blue and silver outfit, another older pic)
7. Kage in Flight (winged elf) - Incomplete
8. Merperson - Incomplete

Commissions will all be in pen and/or colored pencil, I might get fancier next year.
Then there will be the 8 smaller designs.

Suggestions for the number of prints to make?
And who is defineately planning to join me at the table?

really really really want to go to AWA and sit at the art table with you and try to sell stuff of mine, however, i have a few problems:
1. kinda too late to go get into AWA
2. i have no prints of anything to sell
3. making prints/selling my artwork always seems like a good idea up until the person goes to take it from my hands...then i won't let go ;oP

maybe i should just see about putting together slides finally and seeing if Mad Cat wants to let me use their showroom....

I'm still in (like I really need to tell you ;b) I don't know how many prints you should make. Depends on what you think might attract the most interest. Maybe 5 each.

How are you doing the prints anyway? At home or going to a shop around town?

At home for the normal sized. Laminating the small ones and maybe printing a couple of 11x17 pieces at a copy center.

Yay! You're using the one of me! I so excited! I wish I could go this year, but it looks like... yet again... I won't be able to. I'd love to have a copy of that and one of Kage if you ever get around to making several. Anyway, love ya! And Jesse and I want to come down and visit sometime, as long as we have a couple weeks notice etc. When would be good for you?
