A week and seventeen-hours-in-a-car-with-my-little-brother-driving from Huntsville...
Gods.
Feels like forever since I've seen everyone.
I've been making random calls back to AU & Huntsville kiddos with variable success. Still haven't gotten through to Jenni. If you've tried calling me and gotten weird messages, keep trying, signals suck up here, and the room I'm staying in seems to block any and all phone signals. On the upside now, I'm back on AIM, see earlier note on my screennames.

I'd like to note it's been in the freaking 50s temperature-wise prety much ever since I got up here. Enjoy your 80s and 90s. I want summer weather gods-damn-it.

Mmm... I'm going to be working with CrystalReports at work, I'm already getting a decent handle on them I think. Not as imposing as first advertised so far. I hear Dave has experience with this stuff.

Saw a deer walk through the bakyard of the Kaercher's place the other morning. Thier daughter, my cousin (a few times removed), turned 13 today. I got her a Gryffndor shirt frm Hot Topic.

Mom had an interview at 9am this morning in Tallassee, AL. Looks really good. It would be a great move career-wise. They'd pay moving expenses, and it would be a 23% (around 14,000) salary increase. She'd also be living really close to Aubvurn which would be cool, excuses to return there after graduation are nice. She even found a promising house if she does get the job. 5 bedroom house in Tallassee (office, room for her, and rooms for BJ, Mary (Richard's daughter) and myself to come to stay in). Yeah, my intitial reaction to the parenthesiezed statement was defineately shock. But I'll get over it, Mom likes Richard, and frankly my only problem is timing and that I don't know him. Moreso the latter I think. Whatever. It'd be a good move. She'd also be moving before I return most likely if it happens.

I think this happened to Dad too, He went into the military, came home, and his family had moved (and forgot to tell him). True story.

Mom's chances of actually getting said job? Not bad. Her headhunter (who got her the interview) talked to them later today, and they said she's the #1 pick right now, and there's only 2 left to interview. So we're keeping fingers crossed on it.

BJ (phone) interviewed for the Cape Cod coaching job today too. No clue it that went well or not.

I dunno what else... I guess I'm not dead yet.

For those who offered to help me with downloads since I can't do that here... Please let me know what you can pick up for me.

FYI: By saying Seed, I implied Astray as well.

    *hug* Take care.

What's your mom going to do with your house now if she has to leave? Is she going to have to sell it?

    Sell it.
I don't like the idea of not having a home there anymore, but this would be too good an opportunity.

I'm so sorry. That's... I can't even imagine. I mean, I guess it is too good an opportunity, but... I'm so sorry. *hug* I wish you could be down here right now, I know you're miserable and I can't do anything for you... I love you lots. I'll try to call you as soon as my phone stops screwing up. I'm in a horrible reception area, so I can't even tell if I miss calls half the time. If you can't get through and you need to talk, e-mail me and I'll call you as soon as possible.

Can I add a thank you on my end too, Dusty? I'm like almost two weeks behind again on downloads. Will probably be further at the rate I'm going.

But I'll try to catch up as soon as I can.

It's not a problem, it's not like I wasn't going to download most of these anyway.

Here's the list of what I'm dl'ing: Chrno Crusade, FMA, Kyou Kara Maou, Mermaid Melody, and Le Portrait de Petit Cossette. I see Dustyx has the first 3 for you.

Oh, and just think. I grew up in the weather you're talking about. Winters with snow up to your knees and still having to walk to school in -10 degree weather. But it does get warmer. Really, it does, I promise.

It's really not too cold, just too cold for the kind of summers I'm used to.
