I can't imagine people having a problem with that, it's unreasonable for you to have to burn ~100 CDs (what, per person?). Even if they've provided the CDs it's just crazy for one person to ask for two complete series' worth of episodes. Just go with the "if you can't afford it, you don't need it" rule when it comes to the luxuries (which can also be applied to games, warez, etc).
It's a bit of equivalent trade, isn't it(I'm seen FMA, I know the ending, just using this as an example)? I do believe you should be PROPERLY compensated for your work if these people want so much stuff from you. I think if they really want it, they'd be willing to go through something to get it, whether it be compensating someone else or downloading it themselves, even if it was on 56k. Remember the old club days when 56k is all we really had? We were lucky to be watching new anime in the first place ;_; Don't let the people get to you. Stay firm in your stance, though, whatever you pick(I think you already picked) ^_^
The problem is, the volume we're looking at would kill my cd burner, and it voids my warranty if I open the comp case. There's no compensation to make up for the pain in the ass I'd have to take to fix it.
I remember digital anime wasn't even an option for club back then. All we had was VHS. These guys don't know that fansubs ever came on VHS.
This is me, you know I can be a right bitch when I have to. ^_~
Right when I was part of the club, downloading anime on 56k, usinga TV-out-enabled video card and taping anime was the only way to get new anime. I mean, I was 15-16 at the time(really young, in other words), so shouldn't these people do their research, and shouldn't they be taught how much of a pain in the ass it is to burn lots of CDs? Choco no likey ignorance.
Bitch = good when you have a reason :D I have no objections. Stick it to them hard. Oh yeah, and do you have a new AIM name, or do you shun the program now?
*Slams another magazine hime into his 50 caliber semiautomactic pistol scanning the area* Who wants some? Huh... you? *points at random fanboy who runs off into the night* Thought so.
