Quotes fromthe movie:
"It's[China] so ugly, so crude, so... democratic!"

"You travesty of a goddess!
You-- You Liberal!"

"Confucius says... It's payback time!" - Said by Confucius

"Lets begin our Glorious Pilgramage!"

"How about it, scholar? Let's go defeat some evil!"

Okay... looking for quotes online to add to the ones I remember... failed miserably. But I did find tons of horrible reviews. Hahaha. Goodness people. It's not a great movie (it's Hallmark, COME ON), but if you try to take it's seriously, it's horrible.
Parody-Satire-Gross Misinterpretation of Journey to the West, China and everything else... But it's fall on your ass funny.
Don't take it seriously and you'll be laughing the entire way through, and you'll love it.
If you watch it, consider it a parody or something. I don't know how you can take it seriously really. ^_^

Come on, Greg (of Dharma & Greg) is the "scholar from above". And we determined Sandy likes babies-- to eat. 'Cause he has skulls hanging aroung his neck. Pigsy should not get his smack from Confucius.... And apparently bodhisattvas (excuse me, goddesses) report to the Mother Superior. ROFLMAO

I'm not entirely familiar with Buddhism, so forgive me if I have the wrong concept of what a bodhisattva is.

And because I'm a research geek and I have to...

In Buddhist thought, a bodhisattva is a being that, while not yet fully enlightened, is actively striving toward that goal. Conventionally, the term is applied to hypothetical beings with a high degree of enlightenment and power. Bodhisattva literally means a "wisdom ("bodhi") being ("sattva") in Sanskrit. ~http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Bodhisattva

Kuan Yin (also written as Guan Yin, Kwan Yin or in other variants which hyphenate or remove the space between the two words) is the bodhisattva of compassion as venerated by East Asian Buddhists. Commonly known as the Goddess of Mercy, Kuan Yin is also reverenced by Chinese Taoists as an Immortal.
