[Sketch Requests] Open Season

I have not been sleeping properly lately. It is wearing on me.

Okay. Still trying to get back into the art groove. (I want to get back drawing Schwane Zwei, CotND, and Gwarchiedwad.)

So I'm opening sketch requests again. Sketch requests are going to be like what you just saw that I just finished for the Slayers Friending Meme. This is pretty much first-come first-serve, but if you just got a sketch in the friending meme, there's a small risk that you might get bumped for someone I have not done a sketch for in a while. I'd say don't let that hold you back from making a new request though. The last time I did something like this with 10 slots, it never filled up.

Request Rules!

1. You must specify the fandom and character(s) you want.
   
2. You must specify some sort of prompt. A single word or a 1~2 sentence idea of what you want to see.
   
3. Max of two characters per sketch.
   
4. One sketch per person.
   
5. Keep it PG-13.
   
6. Please don't make it overly complicated. I'm really just not that good.
   
7. [Temporary(?) Rule] This is currently limited to the following fandoms: Slayers, Princess Tutu, Gurren Lagaan, Avatar:TLA**, Rayearth, InuYasha, Gunparade March, FFVII~X, FMA, Utena, Chrno Crusade, Kenshin, Hikaru no Go, Full Metal Panic, Ouran High School Host Club, Hana Kimi, Skip Beat, Library Wars, Ghost Hunt, and of course--any of my original characters/series.
   

I'll open it up to any fandom if the list doesn't fill up. OR, if you have an idea from another fandom, try me anyways, I'm flexible. I just want to keep it limited to shows I'm actually familar with. I'm trying to get back in the swing of drawing after extended breaks due to problems with my right hand; I'm not looking for major challenges or curve balls.
Also, in 12~24 hours or so I will open this up to people outside my FL, and post the offer to a couple of comms. OPENED UP.
**With Avatar, I have NOT watched the ending yet, please do not spoil me. Firebending Masters is the farthest I've seen.

Hehe, I don't really expect you to do this request. I just like filling this out and I haven't commented on your journal in a while. :3

Fandom: FFVII
Characters: Cloud and Tifa
Prompt: Tifa calling Cloud a dork and bandaging his leg (or rest of body) after playing with the orphans on whether or not moogles are real (like a moogle hunt). Unfortunately He and the children get in a scuffle with a chocobo nest and it's momma, so now they all have bruises!

If you do this, yay! But if not, that's ok. I can't wait to see your other requests!

Haha. We have seriously got to work on your habit of making overly-complicated requests. :D I shortened it down to something more resonable on the request list.

(Don't forget, if I get a bunch of requests, I'll be bumping the ones who just recieved one from the Friending Meme. But right now, yours is on the list.)

When you ask for a prompt, I get carried away though...I just love writing! lol I should have made it not like that. >_<

Well, it's not so much the one character healing the other that makes it complex, it was where it extended beyond that. To the little kids, the chocobos, and "now they all have bruises". That took it beyond a simple concept I could run with into a prompt with a very specific back-story and situation.
Something better for a fanfic than a sketch.
The way you described it really required either a very detailed image with a background and more characters drawn than the primary two to illustrate the prompt. The children and the chocobo (or nest) couldn't be brought across without bdrawing them and thusly making the drawing very complicated (or really, that requires a series of images to convey the entire idea).

"Tifa healing Cloud while teasing him for being injured" is simple, to the point, and leaves openings for interpretation without requiring more to be drawn.

Does that make sense?

Yeah it does. I seen what you mean. I was just having fun cause I didn't think you'd actually take it and I like telling little stories about it (I knew it was a sketch too, so I knew you would probably ignore it). But in the future I'll keep this in mind.
