#1 Divide the list up by even and odd.
That's actually kinda weird because I intentionally did all the girls on odd numbers, and all the boys on the even numbers.

Which group of five would make a better Five Man Band (like a Power Rangers team)?
Hahaha... The Odd(Girls) group strangely enough. Too many of my boys would be too busy with thier own personal quests or angsting to be an effective senati team.
Who would you slot in each position: Leader, Lancer (second-in-command), Big Guy, Smart Guy, The Chick?

If you think the team would be improved by swapping one character between the even and odd groups, which ones would you switch?
I'd switch out Kyoko (the actress) for Kamina. Kamina makes a better "Big Guy", and the bickering between him and everyone BUT Ahiru would be priceless.

#2 (V2) Gender-swap 5, 8 & 10. Which character would have the most change in their story arc? Which the least? Would any of these characters have to have a complete personality change to be believable as the opposite sex?

...Hahaha! I think their gender actually wouldn't alter thier story arcs much at all! For any of them. Romance isn't plot-vital for them really. Clef is a primarily a guide character, so he'd be affected the least by a gender switch. Then I think the changes for Hikaru's story would be fairly superficial. Lina would probably be affected the most. Handsome Sorcery Genius. The chest complex would be gone, so the gags would have to change --probably give boy!Lina a height complex. But, I think that desire to protect those close to Lina's heart and to make money(even if by stealing), travel, learn magic, and eat good food wouldn't really change.
Would any of these characters have to have a complete personality change to be believable as the opposite sex?
Not completely, but we might have to tone Hikaru down a lot, given how demure the gals in his universe tend to be.
I think boy!Lina would be a pretty typical anime male, but with a secret desire to settle down one day. She's such a tomboy outwardly, COME ON.

#3 (V2) Compare the matchups of 5 & 8 and 2 & 9. (Ignore canon sexual preferences for the moment.) Which couple would be more compatible? Which couple would be more plausible to people from either principal's home culture?
5 & 8: Lina [Slayers] x Hikaru [Hikaru No Go]
2 & 9: Zelgadis [Slayers] x Yoko [TTGL]

Lina/Hikaru would never ever work. Not in a gazillion years. They're both hard headed, and Hikaru is all logic, strategy, reality, and iGo. Lina barrelling through life with magic and violence would drive him bonkers or insane trying to pretend the crazy red-headed chic did not just Dragon-Slave Tokyo.

I think I'd like to see Zel/Yoko if only for the lawls. Y'know, once she could be convinced he wasn't an evil beastman out to kill humans. He'd end up using magic to help her out of a jam probably. For all his grumpy, Zel does have a habit of rescuing females. And he'd be all blushing about her outfit... Actually they're both pretty smart when it comes down to it, and I think they could bond over her gun and how it works.
...*grins* I'd ship it like FedEx.

#4 (V2) Your team is 3, 4 & 6. The mission consists of a social challenge, a mental challenge and a physical challenge. Which team member do you assign to each challenge?
Team: Ahiru [PTT], Kamina [TTGL], Fakir [PTT]
Social - Ahiru. She's a bit ditzy, but she's good with people.
Mental - Fakir. Thank god. I'd really need him or Zel to be able to win that one. Maybe Hikaru. If it was strategy.
Physical - Kamina. Break through to the heavens baby!

#5 (V2) 7 becomes 5's boss for a week in some plausible fashion. How's their working relationship?
Lina [Slayers] as Umi's [MKR] boss? They're both too hard-headed. Bicker-bicker-bicker. Nothing would get done.

#6 (V2) 1 finds him/her/itself inserted into 6's continuity. As far as anyone other than 1 or 6 is concerned, they've always been there. What role would 1 be presumed to have had in 6's story, and could they fit in without going wonky?

Fakir would probably hardly notice an extra girl being in the acting classes at Kinkan academy. But that Ghost Knight episode? Kyoko demons and determination to make te play perfect would take all the "drama" out of the episode. In fact, SRS BSNS actress!Kyoko might prevent Fakir from running out to find Ahiru halfway through the episode.
It could fit, but she'd cause problems that one episode.

#7 (V2) 3 and 7 get three wishes. The catch is that they have to agree on all three wishes before they get the benefits of any of them. What three wishes would they make?

Okay. That's hard. They could definitely agree on wishes, but what wishes to grant...
Wishes...
1. Mytho gets his heart back. (oops, raven trouble ensues)
2. Emeraude and Zagato alive, together, and with no Pillar of Cephiro issues to keep them apart/unhappy.
3. The ability for the new friends to visit each other's worlds. (Ahiru would remind Umi waaay too much of MKR!Hikaru.)
Screw up the plot? What plot?

#8 (V2) 6 and 3 are brainwashed by a one-time artifact that works even on people immune to mind control to attack and kill 1. They keep their normal personality, skills and competence level, except any Code vs. Killing has been turned off. Can 1 survive? How?

Okay, ignoring the lawls of pulling two people from the same show on my wacky list...
Kyoko's demon spirits could handle Ahiru, even as Tutu since all her powers revolve around manipulating emotions. I think Fakir's sword skills would kill her pretty dead though.

#9 (V2) 1, 6, 7 & 9 must help an orphanage full of small and depressed children have a merry Christmas. Who does what, knowing that at the very least the kids will be expecting a visit from Santa?

Bwahahaha. Fakir would totally be forced into a Santa suit. Grouchy as hell and blushing, but he'd do it.
Kyoko and Yoko would work together to tell/act out stories and teach them new games.

#10 (V2) 3 and 10 are challenged to circumnavigate the Earth in eighty days or less, using only forms of transportation invented before 1900. Can they do it, or will they be fatally distracted by sidequests or their own personality conflicts?

I don't think personalities would be a problem. they're both pretty amiable. But using technology? Even pre-1900s. Ahiru is well, Ahiru. And Clef is a smart man and could focus, but all he knows is magic. They'd both be absoluely dumbfounded about how to manage it.
