Looking for advice/input on potential Luca wigs.

The costume I'm looking at:
I'm looking at his hair as fluffy/wavy, kind of a light-brown/strawberry blonde, longer in the back, and requires the flattened bang-antennae-thing.

- Requires a lot of triming and styling.
- Color too dark.
- Probably too SUPA-FLUFFY.



2. Short Ash Blond: Short Ash Blond Seller: wfp-wigs Cost: $36
+ Color is probably more accurate.
- Never bought from this seller before.
- Requires bang triming and styling.
- Wig not fluffy or wavy/curly, and doesn't have enough length to be made so.



3. Chestnut Raito Seller: cosplaywig Cost: $35
+ I know and like this wig-seller.
? Color?
- Requires bang triming and styling.
- Wig not fluffy or wavy/curly, and doesn't have enough length to be made so.



4. Carmel Syaoran Seller: cosplaywig Cost: $33
+ I know and like this wig-seller.
+ Fluffy!

- Styling needed, bangs especially.
- Wig too short in back to be accurate.



5. Feathered Suzaku Seller: cosplaywig Cost: $30
+ I know and like this wig-seller.
+ Back hair length is good.
+ Little styling needed. Probably would just trim up bangs.
? I like the feathered style-effect done on the wig, but not sure it's good for Luca.
? Color accurate?
- Looks like the skull-cap of the wig is HUGE. (Can't tell if this is the wig or the wig head causing that look.)



6. Red-Brown Suzaku Seller: cosplaywig520 Cost: $38
+ Fluffy!
+ I like the wig styling mostly as is. Probably would just trim up bangs.
+ Back hair length is sufficient. May need to be shortened.
? Color?
- Never bought from this seller before.
- Needs curly flat-antennae-thing styled in



7. Brown Suzaku Seller: wigs-china Cost: $26
+ Fluffy!
+ I like the wig styling mostly as is. Probably would just trim up bangs.
+ Back hair length is good.
? Color accurate?
- Never bought from this seller before.
- Needs curly flat-antennae-thing styled in
- Must Bid, no "Buy It Now" like others being considered.


These are just my initial finds, so I'm open for suggestions and telling me if you think I'm headed in the right direction or not.

Disclaimer: I don't know if my suggestion will be "better" but I didn't have much choice in the wording. ;)

I have bought from wfp-wigs before and have been v. happy with both items. One was my Sarah Jane wig and the other was Lane's Draco wig.

I found 3 more wigs that you might consider, 2 from wfp and 1 from a seller I've not tried. They have varying degrees of fluffy and shortness and may not be what you are looking for, but as someone who has never seen the show, I thought they looked close.

I think those are all a little too blonde for me, but they look like nice wigs. I'll have to keep that seller in mind. (Can't see images on the 3rd link right now. Photobucket is blocked.)

Don't know anything about the character or series, but just from looking at the pictures you provided, the second-to-last looks the closest, both in style and colour.

I know if I ever cosplayed, hair would kill me. I couldn't style it to save my life!

Yeah, I'm leaning more towards the last 2 myself. The unfamiliar sellers just make me a bit nervous.

It's not too hard, as long as you're not doing massive wig changes. I pay attention when I get my own hair cut, you pick up some things.

Ah, yes, buying from unfamiliar sellers would make me cautious. It's good if they have feedback that you can take a look at, though!

That might explain why I don't pick anything up--I pretty much zone out when getting my hair cut (or I try to). I hate my hair most of the time...Let's see...picture the front like Ozel, and the back more like Hermione. XD;

Oh not at all. A lot of the time wigs are a little off color, which is often excusable, but the length and style on that one is really good, and I think it captures the overall feel better that the others do. It also seems like you have to do very little to the existing style to make it look like the character. (And this is coming from someone who doesn't watch the show.)
