Shut up. So what if i've got a thing for pointy ears? And long hair... Well for elves.... Just Shut up. And avoid being in the same theater as me, i'm gonna be absolutely silly about how they portray the elves in the movies.

Well, well... You didn't mention in our conversation the other day that your first time through you came up as Eowyn! It's a bit freaky that I came up as the same thing as you initially, probably why you didn't mention it. =P

BTW, you won't be the only one looking closely at elf potrayal in the movie. Of course I don't like the way that Tolkien himself treats elves to begin with, but we shall see. ;)

Opening night all I could think was "At least they got the elves right. Tolkien didn't, but the movie did." I never, ever liked Legolas, until I saw him in three dimensions. And I don't think that actor boy is pretty, either. And when I took the Tolkien test, I also came up Eowyn. She may not be an elf, but she's always been my favorite LotR character, so I was gratified.
