I think i'm gonna fail calc3 tomorrow... *sigh*
*huggles forgiveness policy* I'll just retake it.
Saw Spiderman today. It's pretty good. I had to laugh my ass off at certain points though. The guy who plays Jocser on Xena was Jameson's little office gopher, that was funny. And whoever they had playing Jameson was great, he honestly looked like the cartoon brought to life. I've not seen the comic, so I have to go off the cartoon. And then the hospital scene... That he was so freakin' obvious and she was so oblivious... I just laughed and laughed, so did Jana. And Will kept asking if we were okay. The guy playing Norman Osborne did a good job with the entire split personality bit. And look carefully at the spider that bites Peter, the color of it.

The only thing I really disliked was the costumes. Not spiderman's 1st one, that was great. *falls over laughing again* Spiderman's second one... Well I disliked it ever since I saw the previews. Why? It does match the comic design, but that's not the problem. It's with the way they accomplished it. During closeups, look at poor Spidey's head. One, it's deformed. Two, you can see the metal framework used to create a doll or maniquin type deal that they created the costume over through the cloth. Or maybe I'm wrong, maybe there are supposed to be little hexagonal holes all over Spidey's body. Three, when webslinging you see this especially, they didn't bother keeping him moving within the confines of having a human body. I know he's genetically changed, but some of the positions his body goes into during webslinging would require his joints to come about an inch out of thier sockets. Not the in theory that would, but, the where they place the cg body parts is about that far outta joint. I didn't really like Green Goblin's for two reasons. One, it's not the same as the original. Two, I just can't take him seriously when he's talking and there's no mouth movement. It's just wierd.

Two notes to enjoy at the end.
Stay all the way through the end of the credits. You'll know it when it comes up.
In the ast scene, you must hear the coment I had to hear. "Gettin' it on with MJ in the cemetary!" Thank Matt for that one.

Eh. I'm goin' now.

"I'm not going out there! He got my name wrong! It's the human spider!" - Peter

"Copyright Green Goblin! I want a quarter everytime someone says it!" - Jameson

MJ: "Who are you?"
SP: "You know me."
MJ: "Really?" *smitten lovey-dovey face*
SP: "I'm your friendly neighborhood spiderman!" *webslings away*

ROFLMAO
Bwahahahahahaha....

Good soundtrack too.

Hero - Chad Kroeger
(Spiderman Sounndtrack)

I am so high,
I can hear heaven.
I am so high,
I can hear heaven.
Oh but heaven,
No heaven, dont hear me.

(Chorus)
And they say that
A hero can save us,
Im not gonna stand here
And wait.
Ill hold onto the wings
Of the eagles.
Watch as they all fly away.

Someone told me,
Love would all save us.
But how can that be?
Look what love gave us.
A world full of killing,
And blood spilling.
That world never came.

(Chorus)

Now that the world isn't ending,
Its love that Im sending to you.
It isn't the love of the hero,
And thats why I fear it won't do.

(Chorus)

And theyre watching us (watching us)
Theyre watching us (watching us).
As they all fly away. (repeat 2x)

I loved Spiderman, but I'm a bit biased since I've been a spiderman fan since I was two. Not to mention my favorite actor (Ash from Evil Dead; The World's Greatest Thief from Hercules and Xena) Bruce Campbell(he played the wrestling announcer) was in it and was directed by Sam Raimi who directed Evil Dead (which also had Jocser in it). The things that bothered me were the costume and the genetic web shooters. Spiderman has to make his own costum, and also repair it after fights and no white guy can sew that good unless he's gay. The genetic web shooters also take away his ability to use web fluid in other ways (such as mixing Garlic into his web fluid to help weaken Morbius the Vampire). But the Green Goblin's mouth doesn't move in the comic either. But I didn't like the choice of villians, especially since it's Osbourne's dealing with the Kingpin that causes him to become the Green Goblin. He attacks the same way he did the first time in the movie however, but fails to kill the Kingpin (who is saved by Peter who was there taking pictures). I dunno, maybe they're saving the Kingpin for the Daredevil movie.

'ey Becky.... when you come up to Huntsville for the summer, we should meet each other and do some funstuffs.... in Huntsville, that is. Nothing amusing in Florence except a DDR machine and Gay Park(more revolting than amusing), but somehow I don't think you'd precieve those places as "fun" ;P

Is there anything interesting in Huntsville? I really don't remember anything... except their mall has a perfectly working Galaga machine.... ohhh, Galaga *__*

Oh yeah, and read my DJ/LJ posts whenever you get the time(or if you haven't already). It's a good source for debating material.... ahh, good debate can't be found everywhere ^_^

Time to depart and sleep.... the last few of schooldays beckon, and I would like to put as little stress on my body as necessary at this point. Post some more ^.^
