elfgroveI'm back. Anime Weekend Atlanta was fun. Except for the entire thing where they overbooked and kicked us outta our room for the first night. They did put us up at a hotel like 3 minutes away though. A very fancy hotel, with valet parking, and too mych furniture for 8 people to easily bunk down in the room. But we managed. And we terrified the staff with our disscussion of various torture methods we wanted to practice on the staff of the other hotel, and my frequent wishing for my sword. And... yeah. Beau was trying to be nice and civil and polite talking to the deskcleark with three females standing behind him disscussing how to manage 10 months of torture with a sharp rusty blade coated in salt. Other AWAers who had been kicked out were joining the conversation too. It was great. In the course of the conversation we decided I would design and help create the weapons for the con next year. I intend them to be functional to some degree at least too. ^_^
Classes are calming down a bit. I have a Java test tomorrow, but there's not much I can do to prepare, y'know? I either know the damned language or I don't at this point. Heh. ^_^
New theme in my journal. Sorta. I'm keeping with the super dark blue background, but it now features Rune from the Dragon Knights manga. And the icons are new. One for each Dragon Knight. See there here. Rath is the one labeled "Humans...", Rune is the one labeled "SMILE ^_^", and Thatz is the one labeled "Forget All..." If anyone likes the background, I have a lighter colored version, where you can see all the details that I can give to you, its 1024x768. I darkened it so my text is visible in lj on it.
